Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the coordination of all project elements, including engineering design, quality planning, installation, commissioning, and final buy-off phases. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are managed within budget and tracked against project timing plans, while also meeting customer requirements and adhering to the IATF 16949 quality assurance system.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate all project elements, including planning, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final buy-off phases, to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  2. Collaborate closely with customers to respond quickly to changes in specifications and provide regular project progress updates in line with IATF 16949 requirements.
  3. Manage customer and internal Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and participate in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) processes.
  4. Translate customer specifications into actionable departmental actions or sub-supplier orders, while tracking project requirements and resources.
  5. Develop clear and concise explanations for change requests and accurately cost any changes in specification.
  6. Identify and mitigate potential project risks, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems.
  7. Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), quality history reviews, robustness studies, and other quality-related activities.
  8. Effectively manage multiple projects at various stages of the product life cycle and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  9. Utilize proven engineering experience in developing complex assemblies to drive project success.
