Technical Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Engineer to join our team at Solutions Engineering Recruitment. As a Technical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for handling customer orders, ranging from supply-only contracts to full turnkey projects (design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning).
Key Responsibilities:- Must be proficient with AutoCAD and will be working closely with Design Engineers
- Responsible for overseeing project sites, managing resources, providing information to help generate quotes and estimate costs, and ensuring that all customer expectations are exceeded.
- Conducting site visits and creating design solutions using CAD software and preparing risk assessments and method statements for project work.
- Managing both in-house and on-site projects.
- Collaborating with sales teams to develop estimates and project specifications and ensure that materials and equipment are ready for upcoming projects.
- You will play a visible role in the company, meaning you must be hands-on, engage actively with the team, and take ownership of projects.
- Proven experience in project and technical engineering, preferably within small to mid-sized manufacturing or engineering firms.
- Have a mechanical background and solid knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including site services and customer interaction.
