Project Engineer Job Description

Evtec Automotive is a leading supplier to top-tier car manufacturers, seeking a skilled Project Engineer to drive growth and success in new customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project elements, including engineering design, quality planning, installation, commissioning, and final buy-off phases, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Work closely with customers to track changes in specifications and provide regular project progress updates, adhering to APQP requirements.
  • Manage customer and internal APQP processes, participating in PPAP and quality history reviews.
  • Define customer specifications into departmental actions or sub-supplier orders, tracking progress and presenting updates as needed.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, performing root cause analysis to resolve problems and ensure delivery of projects to target timescales and customer requirements.
  • Refer potential new business opportunities to the sales and commercial teams.
