Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at World Fuel Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing emergency assistance to our customers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving issues related to fuel tank and vehicle regulations, pumping and metering systems, and other technical matters.
  • Conduct regular depot audits, spot checks, and quality monitoring to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist in contractor work approvals, auditing and quality monitoring, and meetings with contractors to discuss non-compliance, cost control, and standards of workmanship.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal customers, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture and ensuring personal safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
  • Travel throughout the UK, covering the company network nationally, and requiring overnights and a full UK Clean Driving Licence.

Requirements

  • A relevant technical qualification, such as an NVQ/ONC/HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
  • Registered with Weights and Measures to calibrate, verify, and reseal metering systems.
  • CSCS or Equivalent Card and SPA Passport to Safety.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
