Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Band 6 OT rotation at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust on a full-time, six-month secondment/fixed term contract.

This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist looking to develop their clinical and leadership skills further or broaden their clinical skill set in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment/management of conditions across MSK, vascular, spinal, surgical, and acute medicine pathways including poly-trauma, amputation, and spinal cord injury.
  • Assessment/rehabilitation of traumatic brain injury
  • Supervising others in the team including support workers and band 5s
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Able to maintain a professional portfolio for CPD, recording learning outcomes through participation in internal and external development opportunities

Salary: £35,750 - £46,099 per annum (Band 6), estimated based on local market rates
