We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic General Supply Teacher to join our team at GSL Education - Yorkshire. As a General Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for adapting your teaching approach to accommodate diverse classroom settings and catering to varying student needs in a supportive secondary school setting.
Key responsibilities include implementing school policies and procedures proficiently, supporting students' academic and emotional well-being during the absence of the regular classroom teacher, and collaborating with colleagues and school staff for smooth transitions and effective communication.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), as well as teaching experience in a similar role with secondary school children or within an educational setting. A strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize student safety and well-being is essential.
