Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Literacy Specialist to join our team in Sandwell and Walsall. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering financial education sessions to employed individuals, helping them make informed decisions about their finances.

About the Role
  • Deliver financial literacy sessions over a 10-week period, following the Numbers for Life scheme of work.
  • Provide basic financial education to help learners manage their finances effectively and avoid crisis points.
  • Maintain accurate learner records for information retrieval, statistical monitoring, and report preparation.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation, policies, and procedures, and undertake relevant training.
  • Participate in structured supervision and support sessions.
  • Endorse the aims, policies, and principles of the Citizens Advice service.
Requirements
  • A commitment to working within the aims, principles, and policies of the Citizens Advice service.
  • A good understanding of equality and diversity and its application to advice provision.
  • A willingness to develop knowledge and skills in financial advice topics.
