Computer Science Specialist

PK Education is a leading provider of education services, committed to delivering high-quality teaching solutions. We are seeking an experienced Computer Science Teacher to join our team in Wakefield.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to work with us on a long-term basis until December 2025. The role is full-time, 5 days per week, and requires a strong subject knowledge of Computer Science, IT & Computing.
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (paid to scale), depending on experience.
About the Role
We are looking for a well-qualified teacher with a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent with QTS) who is passionate about supporting pupil progress and achievement. You will contribute to ongoing planning with imaginative and dynamic ideas, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to Secondary students, developing engaging lesson plans and assessments.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent with QTS).
- Strong subject knowledge of Computer Science, IT & Computing.
- Experience of teaching Secondary students.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
