The Perfect Candidate:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate KS2 teacher to join our team. As a specialist in supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and severe learning difficulties, you will play a vital role in developing individualized learning plans that promote engagement, independence, social skills, literacy, and numeracy skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for our pupils.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and progress.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to your approach as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with parents and caregivers to foster a collaborative approach to student development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Substantial knowledge of SLD or experience working with young pupils with ASD.
  • Preferably, experience working in a special needs education setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on experience.
