Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Kent

At Vision for Education - Kent, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive primary school team in Sevenoaks.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of children with special educational needs. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support in assessing and documenting children's progress, fostering a learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Job Description- Assist the class Teacher in creating a tailored, engaging learning experience for each child.
- Foster a safe, positive and stimulating classroom setting and create learning resources to support children, based on their individual needs and interests.
- Work alongside the Teacher and other Teaching Assistants to implement personalised provision plans, providing tailored support to children on a 1:1 or group basis.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Experience working with SEN children or young people, ideally in an education setting.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
