**About the Role**

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant in Renal Medicine to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading medical teams, and contributing to research and education.

**Estimated Salary:** £123,500 - £154,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading the delivery of high-quality patient care in general and nephrology medicine
  • Participating in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and educational events
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with renal disease
  • Performing procedures such as dialysis and renal biopsies
  • Contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department
  • Maintaining GMC specialist registration and holding a license to practice
