About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Advisor to join our team at Look Ahead. As an IDVA, you will play a critical role in addressing the safety of victims and survivors of domestic abuse, providing support and guidance to help them navigate the complexities of their situation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer referrals, completing risk assessments and maintaining relevant paperwork
  • Build trusting relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere
  • Oversee On Track implementation and regular attendance at Marac and oversight of all Marac referrals
  • Conduct regular casework management sessions with the refuge team
  • Support customers to obtain non-molestation orders and other civil remedies
  • Work proactively with the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
  • Attend court and case management hearings as a representative for customers
  • Develop productive relationships with partner organizations to improve service outcomes
