Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Critical Engineering Manager to provide site engineering team senior leadership at ISS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of site engineering operations, governance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement site engineering strategies to ensure optimal operational effectiveness and reliability of plant and associated systems.
  • Ensure adherence to set engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and ISS safe systems of work.
  • Coordinate initial actions associated with client requests and ensure all working activities are delivered in line with set governance.
  • Manage complex operations against a budget and ensure 100% compliance within assigned site/area.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to engineering-related reactive system issues and help desk requests.
  • Ensure all incidents are escalated and communicated within contracted SLA, actioned, and documented in line with applicable governance.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and update documentation as directed.

Requirements

  • Qualified in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
  • IOSH and/or NEBOSH Certificate.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience within a similar role.
  • Previous experience as an authorized person in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, both orally and using IT platforms.
  • Detailed knowledge of statutory legislation in relation to building services and maintenance.
