Area Sales Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to drive real orders growth in steam thermal solutions in the Southwest & Southern UK territory.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic individual.
The role will be responsible for identifying, driving and delivering sales and profit growth with an end-user portfolio utilising resources to best effect and implementing solution selling.
You will be responsible for generating a pipeline of qualified proactively generated projects and focusing on customer account management.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute territory action plans to deliver business growth for the area of your responsibility.
- Proactively manage and develop customer accounts through targeted sales calls, solution selling, and exemplary service.
- Identify, qualify and forecast opportunities utilising Lead to Order process and available business tools.
- Utilise best practice and expertise to develop sound engineering solutions and use Customer Value Propositions to unlock sales potential.
- Take ownership and manage the opportunity pipeline ensuring and effective accurate forecast is delivered on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Timely update of customer records and prepare reports that reflect your area of responsibility utilising appropriate analytical approaches and Business Information tools.
- Ensure effective matrix working in conjunction with External and Internal Support function.
