Community Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team. As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health conditions in their own homes and within various accommodation settings.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and manage risks associated with clients with enduring mental health needs.
- Deliver crisis interventions and offer support with mental health difficulties.
- Monitor physical health and support social needs.
- Support the Depot Clinic, Clozapine clinic, and Duty system.
- Engage with community resources and external agencies to aid patients' recovery.
- Administer and monitor the side effects of medication according to NMC professional standards.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- 2 years community experience.

Person Specification- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.
- Experience of supervising junior staff.
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience of working with adults with mental health problems.
