Job Title: Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor to join our multidisciplinary team at St Margaret of Scotland Hospice. As a Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality specialist palliative care to patients living with progressive life-limiting illnesses.

About the Role:
  • Provide clinical and educational support to the Hospice Inpatient Units and Community-Based Palliative Care Service.
  • Work closely with Primary Care colleagues and Acute Colleagues across NHSGGC to deliver a high standard of Specialist Palliative Care.
  • Participate in the development of an inspiring and enriching education programme in partnership with the Hospice Education Team.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a 24/7 Support Service, which is a vital service for those supporting someone at home.

Requirements:
  • Full registration with a License to Practice with the GMC.
  • Experience in Palliative Medicine or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
