Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band Health Care Support Worker to join the Rehabilitation Unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

About the Role

As a member of our team, you will work closely with patients who are living with dementia and require ongoing discharge planning. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, planned care and nursing treatments under the indirect supervision of the nurse in charge.

Main Duties
  • Assist patients with their personal care needs, recording observations and completing bedside documentation.
  • Carry out general cleaning in the clinical environment, preparing bed spaces and cleaning equipment.
  • Provide care for a group of patients, including personal care, assisting with meals and drinks, and recording observations.
  • Accompany patients for investigations and provide support as needed.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
