Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to join our Communications directorate as a Migration Communications Officer. In this role, you will lead the delivery and development of a communications plan focused on showcasing Liverpool's vibrant migrant communities and creating a blueprint for a Council that supports newcomers from day one.

You will be responsible for ensuring the valuable history of migration continues to be celebrated, and people have access to information needed to live safely and happily in the city. As a key member of our team, you will bring demonstrable experience in delivering effective news management, internal communication, external communication, behavior change campaigns, reputation risk management, and external reputation assessment.

Your tasks will include developing high-quality written materials, such as articles, blogs, news releases, and social media copy, as well as compelling video, graphic assets, and podcasts. We seek an innovative thinker who can help us lead the way in supporting all citizens of the city, promoting inclusivity, and celebrating diversity.

About the Role:

  • Salary: £39,513 - £44,711 per annum
