Night Hygiene Operative

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Night Hygiene Operative to join our team at Avara Foods in Hereford. As a key member of our Hygiene team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
- Follow food safety rules and guidelines
- Understand and attain individual and department targets
- Awareness of material and energy usage
- Cooperate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety, and productivity standards
- Manual handling of plant and equipment
- Isolation of plant and machinery
- Meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team
- Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
- Carry out instructions as given by your Team Leader/Management
Requirements:
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
