About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Psychology graduate to gain valuable experience working with children with special educational needs. As a 1:1 Support Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their academic potential.
  2. Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
  3. Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility.
  4. Support students with emotional and behavioral difficulties, using strategies to de-escalate conflicts and promote positive behavior.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience of working with children or young people, ideally within a school or educational setting.
  2. A recent Psychology graduate with a passion for working with children with special educational needs.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
