Aircraft Training Manager

Job Overview
Ryanair Group, a leading airline group in Europe, is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Training Manager to join its Engineering Training department. The successful candidate will support the Training Manager and provide site-level leadership to ensure all training courses meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Training Manager to manage the local training program for Prestwick Maintenance Facilities.
- Lead and manage a team of Technical Training Instructors to ensure demand is met in a structured and timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations, where applicable, for all Technical Training.
- Provide oversight, liaison, and support for the RYR AMC program.
- Develop instructor materials (course outlines, lesson plans, background material, instructional materials, and training aids) at the request of the training manager.
- Maintain and develop the local training centre for further learning enhancements across all levels of training.
- Demonstrate a strong 'hands-on' attitude.
- Build and deliver effective training programs to meet the above-mentioned training requirements.
- Deliver all technical training to engineering staff to the highest industry standards, including but not limited to:
- Delivery of all technical training associated with business needs across all airlines within the Group.
- Delivery of specialized type-specific training.
- Evidence of previous employment in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to build and deliver effective training programs.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to escalate issues to the management team.
- Ability to plan and work to deadlines laid out by the management teams.
- Good working knowledge of Office 365 and eagerness to learn new programs/software tools.
- Ability to scrutinize and supply constructive critique where non-compliance may be found.
- Effective communication skills to interact with the team through all types of communication (verbal, face-to-face, virtual).
- Open-minded, eager to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the team.
- Strong work ethic and responsibility for timely completion of work.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to seek and find solutions and address them to the management team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must hold a valid EU passport and be willing to travel as required by the business.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
