Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

About the Role:
As a Certifying Engineer with Chevron Recruitment Agency, you will be responsible for certifying aircraft maintenance work carried out in accordance with the scope and privileges of the authorisations held and in accordance with the company procedures.
Candidates with experience or relevant job titles of; Aircraft Mechanical Engineer, Aviation Maintenance Technician, or Licensed Aircraft Engineer may also be considered. This position requires strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to supervise staff and ensure efficient aircraft turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out certification of work carried out in accordance with the scope and privileges of the authorisations held
- Supervise staff, in conjunction with a lead mechanic, allocated to the aircraft or zone that the Certifying Engineer is accountable for
- Ensure correct staging, manual references, tooling and materials used are captured and accurate detail is provided
Requirements:
- A current UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence
- Base maintenance experience
- Hold A330 and/or A320 and/or B787 type on licence and/or B737
The salary range for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 7% employer contribution to pension, 240 hours annual leave per annum, private healthcare & dental cover, life assurance cover, employee assistance programme, and in-house type training options.
