Health and Safety Management Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Management Specialist to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Health and Safety management systems, promoting a safety-focused culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Comprehensive Site Visits and Auditing: Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborative Support: Provide hands-on support and guidance to colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders, building strong interpersonal relationships.
- System Maintenance and Improvement: Assist in maintaining and improving Z-Tech's Health and Safety management systems, including ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, and 27001.
- Communication and Training: Communicate best practices for health, safety, and environmental management across the organisation.
- Internal and External Auditing: Conduct internal audits and analyse data to drive improvements.
- A comprehensive understanding of health and safety industry standards, environmental best practices, and risk assessment.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
- IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate.
- Proficiency in Learning and Adaptability: Ability to learn and utilise various specialist software and databases.
- Decision Making: Confidence in making decisions within the role's responsibilities.
- Analysis and Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying necessary safety measures and controls.
- Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
