About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative EYFS SEND teacher to join our team in Brent, London. As an experienced professional in the field of SEND education, you will be responsible for leading a small class of children with Autism, using engaging and tailored methods to cater to individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and planning lessons aligned with each child's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).">
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters social interaction and personal growth.">
  • Developing strategies to promote independence and wellbeing in children with ASD.">
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure successful lesson delivery.">
  • Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide the best support for each child's unique needs.">

Requirements:

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching children with special educational needs, particularly Autism.">
  • Has strong knowledge of ASD and complex needs, skilled in adapting teaching strategies accordingly.">
