**Job Summary**

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious retail professional to join our team as a Trainee Store Manager. As a Trainee Store Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced retail environment, working closely with our experienced store managers and teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and implement company-wide initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, including shoe care products, to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, including merchandising, administration, and customer service.
  • Support the recruitment and training of new team members.

**Requirements**

  • A proven track record of success in a retail or related industry sector, with experience in leading and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A valid UK driving license is desirable.
