Clinical Lead Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate clinical leader to join our dynamic stroke rehabilitation team on ward B NPTH.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team in achieving high standards of nursing care while promoting patient safety at all times.
The post holder will work within the team on a 28-bedded stroke rehabilitation ward, working a seven-day service including weekends, bank holidays, and nights.
Applicants must share the values and behaviours of Swansea Bay University Health Board.
Main Duties- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care.
- Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Assist in the management and organisation of the clinical area.
- Participate in the education, development, and supervision of other staff members.

Person Specification- Knowledge of safeguarding adults/children including MCA and DOLS.
- Registered Nurse (Part 1) - Active NMC Registration.
- Relevant clinical experience.
- Able to relate theory into practice through reflective skills.
- Experience with working with pre-registration nursing students.
- Relevant experience within specialty and able to demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant specialty.
- Previous experience of leadership and management.
- Awareness of current issues in nursing and specialty.
