Job Title: Assistant Head of Department - Multi-Skills Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Head of Department to join our team at Herts Resourcing Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades team and will play a key role in the development and implementation of our construction and trades programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Multi-Skills & Trowel Trades team to achieve high-quality teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of our programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our college's strategic plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 5 teaching qualification.
  • Have a construction industry qualification.
  • Hold or working towards an IQA Award or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • DBS on the update service.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Experience of managing study programs.
