The role of a Family Support and Intervention Specialist involves undertaking assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act, working with children in need, those on Child Protection plans, and families involved in pre-proceedings or court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of vulnerable children and their families
  • Develop and implement effective support plans to ensure the well-being and safety of children
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide coordinated support services

This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. We are seeking individuals who can provide high-quality support to vulnerable children and their families while maintaining professional boundaries.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
