Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Mobile Equipment Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery. You will collaborate with customers surrounding the plant, lifting and handling products, and actively travel to sites to carry out repairs and create solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults on plant and forklift machinery
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve issues
  • Travel to sites to carry out repairs and maintenance
  • Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics, and hydraulics, as well as mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in the Plant or Forklift industries
  • Experience working with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities
  • Experience working with engines and batteries
  • Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering
  • Full UK Drivers License
