Interaction Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established Material Handling firm in search of an experienced Mobile Forklift Repair Engineer.



About the Role


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Field Based Forklift Engineer to join our client's growing team. As a Field Based Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery.



Key Responsibilities



  1. Accurately diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery.
  2. Collaborate with customers surrounding the handling and lifting of products.
  3. Travel to sites and carry out repairs of the equipment and create solutions.
  4. Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics, and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  1. Previous experience working in the Plant or Forklift industries (essential).
  2. Previous experience working with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities (essential).
  3. Experience working with engines and batteries (essential).
  4. Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience.
  5. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous).
  6. A full UK Driver's License.

Estimated Salary


The estimated salary for this role is £35,750-£43,500 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
