About the Role

This permanent Social Worker position offers a fantastic opportunity to work within our Fostering Team in Redbridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for arranging and attending meetings related to foster carers, maintaining a child-focused approach, and identifying Standards of Care issues.

Key Features:
  • Salary: Up to £46,041 per annum.
  • Location: Redbridge.
  • Full-time role.
Responsibilities:
  1. Meet with foster carers to discuss care plans and Standards of Care.
  2. Remain child-centered in all interactions.
  3. Report any Standards of Care issues to management.
  4. Work closely with line managers to address any challenges or concerns.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to find suitable foster families for children in need.
  6. Provide regular updates on casework and statistics.
  7. Maintain accurate records and use electronic systems effectively.
  8. Stay updated on relevant policies, laws, and procedures.
  9. Foster a culture of excellence in childcare practice and adhere to relevant legislation.
  10. Contribute to team duty systems and ensure effective communication.
  11. Monitor agency decisions regarding fostering and special guardianship.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Social Work England registration required.
