Business Development Manager (1 year contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Basingstoke College of Technology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies to increase our offer to apprentices and adult learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase our offer to apprentices and adult learners
  • Lead and manage events to promote apprenticeships, distance learning, and adult learning
  • Utilize digital and social media to advertise apprenticeships, distance learning, and other courses offered at BCoT
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote our services
  • Contribute to the development of our business growth plans and strategies

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a business development environment with a proven track record in lead generation and account management
  • Good knowledge of apprenticeships and a track record of achieving challenging targets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop a good rapport with a wide range of clients
  • IT and good organisational skills, with the ability to work in a busy environment
