About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer in Test to lead our mobile engineering team in delivering high-quality solutions that improve outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead system-level quality engineering and delivery in a cross-functional mobile engineering team.
  • Develop and implement automated testing strategies and manual testing approaches for complex systems.
  • Collaborate with junior engineers to grow their skills and capabilities.
  • Own the stability of environments, automated tests, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Elevate the quality and security posture of applications within the Outcome Team.
  • Work across multiple engineering teams to improve the quality and security of the Capital One Android and iOS mobile apps.
Requirements
  • Strong technical leadership skills with expertise in programming and a broad background in technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt style to situation and audience.
  • Collaborative team player with a desire to have a proactive positive impact on people and systems.
  • Experience with modern languages like Kotlin and Swift, as well as frameworks including Espresso, XCUITest, RestAssured, and Gatling.
  • A strong CI/CD and test automation culture.
