About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving AI/ML models and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop novel system architectures that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and other forms of generative AI.
  • Build workflows and end-to-end pipelines for data preparation, model training, deployment, monitoring, and ensure the quality of architecture to deliver Generative AI solutions as scalable and performant fully featured products.
  • Work with product partners to design production at scale and partner closely with our security and privacy teams to produce innovative and secure solutions.
  • Exert technical influence over team members, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
  • Assist in the career development of others by actively mentoring individuals and the community on advanced technical issues and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members.
About the Team

The 'CP2 - Ad Sales Ads Reporting' (ASAR) team is a part of AIRS org, transforming internal Ad Sales Ads reporting from manual, reactive workflows to automated, proactive workflows that accelerate account team ability to drive advertiser action in a consistent, scaled, and measurable way.

Requirements
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
  • Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
  • Experience leading the architecture and design of new and current systems.
  • Experience in development in the last 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
