Logistics Operations Manager

In the dynamic world of events and exhibitions, logistics plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of an event. At Air Business Limited, we understand the unique needs of each stakeholder and provide tailored solutions that streamline operations, optimize efficiency, and enhance overall event experiences.
We are seeking an experienced Exhibitions Logistics Operations Manager to join our successful events logistics team. This is not an Events Manager role - we are recruiting for someone who has worked specifically in backend operations within exhibitions logistics.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience with UK, European, or global freight and transport logistics for shows, exhibitions, and trade shows, ensuring exhibitors receive their deliveries on time and directly to their stands.
This role will see you oversee and manage the end-to-end logistics of exhibition projects, ensuring seamless delivery and execution. You will work closely with logistics and exhibition partners worldwide, securing rate schedules, shipping dates, and carrier information.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the entire logistics process, from appointment by the organizer to delivery and return of materials from stands.
- Work with commercial and sales teams to target future clients and grow the business.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, ensuring all bookings and orders are processed efficiently.
- Drive efficiencies and improvements in logistics processes to maximize profitability.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar logistics role within exhibitions/events.
- Strong knowledge of import/export customs regulations and formalities.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) at an intermediate level.
- Clean driving license.
