Position Summary

As a Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of our Transport Administration Team. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, coordinating driver schedules, and ensuring effective vehicle oversight to maintain compliance with transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, you will assist the Transport team in meeting delivery timelines. Your main duties will encompass:

  • Providing administrative assistance, ensuring accurate tracking of driver hours and managing absences.
  • Guaranteeing adherence to the scheduling system's compliance requirements.
  • Facilitating communication with drivers to equip them with necessary information for timely departures.
  • Consistently achieving operational and customer service performance metrics.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a comparable role within the logistics sector, preferably in a dynamic office setting. You should be well-organized, possess strong attention to detail, and be capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both drivers and management are essential.

Familiarity with transportation legislation, including operator licensing and working time directives, is advantageous, and holding a CPC qualification is a plus, though not mandatory.
