Highways Engineer Job Description

Zodiac Recruitment is seeking a skilled Highways Engineer to join our client's team in Bristol. As a Highways Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical input to a wide range of project types and consultancy commissions
  • Develop and initiate traffic and highway schemes from inception through to completion
  • Support Senior staff and liaise with other technical staff across Project Centre offices
  • Assist in developing Quality Assurance systems and procedures in the service area
Requirements:
  • Accredited Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge and experience of Traffic or Highway Engineering Design and design standards
  • Sound understanding of highways and traffic engineering techniques and principles and a track record in transport planning, design and/or delivery
  • Expertise in traffic and highways related industry recognised software
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
