Reliability, Maintenance and Engineering (RME) Mechatronics Apprenticeship

This Mechatronics Apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to join Amazon's RME team as an apprentice engineer. You will work alongside experienced technicians to develop expertise in areas like electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices and maintenance procedures.

About the Apprenticeship:

  • Hands-on training in multiple engineering disciplines, including installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment, fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues, planned and preventative maintenance activities, modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians to develop expertise in areas like electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices and maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

We're looking for talented individuals who are passionate about engineering and technology, with a strong desire to learn and develop their skills. If you have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths, English, and a science/technology subject, and are studying towards a BTEC Level 3 National qualification or equivalent in an Engineering subject or studying for 'A' levels with a bias toward science and technology, we'd love to hear from you.
