Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Glacier Energy Services in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all payroll-related tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process employee clock-in information and payroll data on Opera, ensuring accurate deductions and payments.
  2. Maintain all payroll records, including new starts, leavers, and changes to rates of pay.
  3. Deal with queries from staff and external agencies, including HMRC, regarding payroll matters.
  4. Calculate holiday uplift pay for technicians and ensure compliance with Real-Time Information reporting deadlines.
  5. Prepare and file payroll taxes with HMRC and complete monthly submissions for pension schemes.
  6. Ensure accurate completion of annual P60 and P11d forms and maintain fully compliant status with HMRC requirements.
  7. Liaise with the HR department and support accounts payable throughout the month.
Requirements
  • A proven track record in payroll management and administration.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable is highly desirable.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
