About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global financial services firm in Glasgow. As a Senior Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for performing key tasks within the UK Payroll team, including project work and people management.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Ensure all controls and legislation are adhered to for each UK payroll run for all payroll cycles.">
  3. Maintain a strong partnership with the UK payroll vendor.">
  4. Enhance the Payroll control framework around all payroll responsibilities, including SOX and internal controls.">
  5. Maintain a detailed understanding of current payroll legislation, with a proactive approach to plan for future changes.">
  6. Governance and oversight responsibility for the timely and accurate disbursement of all payroll-related payments through BACS.">
  7. Liaise with internal and external auditors to assist with understanding the key processes, giving access to systems for sample testing and providing evidence of key controls.">

You must have a wealth of experience in managing complex payroll functions and a proven track record in building and maintaining an effective network of contacts.
