Job Summary

The Clinical Lead for Dermatology is a key role within The Medical and Diagnostic Care Group, responsible for providing leadership and clinical expertise to our dermatology services. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced dermatologist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our dermatology team, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained at all times.
  • Support the development and implementation of clinical strategies and policies, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other clinical teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical standards and guidelines, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
  • Support the recruitment and development of clinical staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and competencies to deliver high-quality patient care.

Person Specification
  • Dermatology or Plastics Consultant with at least 2 years' experience post-CCT.
  • Exceptional clinical standards, with the ability to act as lead clinical for the specialty with credibility among peers.
  • Experience of complaint management and governance.
  • Experience of networking and business development.
