About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PCN Lead Nurse to join our Community Nursing teams within the Maidstone ABC/Central Primary Care Network area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior management and leadership within the four teams aligned to work with the PCNs.
  • Work closely with the operational manager leading on quality, performance, workforce, and finances.
  • Supervise the community nursing teams and provide assurance of standards, adherence to KPIs, contractual expectations, and CQC requirements.
  • Support the senior staff to deliver high standards of care, working closely with other specialist services, GPs, social services, hospices, and other MDT partners.
  • Focus on enhancing the quality of patient care, and local provision needs, while encouraging the development of staff and service.
Requirements
  • Registered healthcare professional (NMC registration)
  • Health-related degree and evidence of relevant postgraduate development at Level 6
  • Evidence of postgraduate specialist qualifications relevant to the area of practice
  • Management or supervisory qualification/programme of study
  • Minimum of five years' experience in the area of practice
  • Experience of leading and managing teams
  • Experience of developing policy and service development plans with practical experience of change management
