Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Molecular Biologist or R&D Project Lead to join our team in this exciting role. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing and executing cutting-edge projects, prioritizing workloads, coordinating scientific work streams and processes, and contributing to strategic documents.

Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent experience in Molecular Biology, Virology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline
  • Experience in design and execution of molecular biology-based experiments (e.g., DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, cloning, gibson assembly, sequencing, transfections)
  • Planning, troubleshooting, and hands-on execution of omics experiments (e.g., short-read/long-read sequencing, transcriptomics, primer/probe design)
  • Builds networks with other teams and external specialists
  • Evidence of impactful research experience through publications, patents, and/or presentations at national/international conferences
  • Strong IT skills (including proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and comfort using shared drives
  • Experience with ONT sequencing and knowledge of good practice in bioinformatics (e.g., version control, reproducibility, pipeline management), data provenance and storage
  • In vivo oncology work experience
  • High motivation for, and commitment to, research on anticancer therapies and drug discovery
