The Opportunity

We seek a Senior Scientist I (Cell and Molecular Biology) to lead the development of our target validation capabilities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires solving complex challenges from first principles, collaborating across disciplines, and directly influencing scientific strategy. You will work closely with experts in isoform discovery and computational biology to shape the future of medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine mammalian and iPSC cell culture systems and derived models for target validation workflows, including 2D and 3D organoid models.
  • Contribute to platform strategy through writing scientific publications, participating in strategy sessions, and supporting grant and IP filings.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Extensive cell biology experience, including expertise in iPSC maintenance, iPSC-derived models and CRISPR-based methods.
  • Proficiency with image-based analysis techniques.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
