As an Operational Support Leader, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our regional safety culture while delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all areas of compliance and monthly KPIs are met, highlighting any variances between safety compliance requirements and operational responses.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor action plans to redress variances.
  • Ensure that all Company policies and procedures and legal obligations are understood and adhered to by all members of the workforce.
  • Support the Regional and Site Management team(s) to manage the workforce in the achievement of their daily and weekly tasks in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous safety improvement within the Division and assist the Senior Management Team in their implementation.
  • Carry out any other such reasonable job-related tasks as the Company may require you to undertake from time to time.

Requirements:

  • IOSH
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Safety and Compliance Management experience in a fast-paced heavily legislated work environment.
  • All areas of people management inc recruitment, staff development, training, and performance management.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
  • Quality Management Procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels (clients, head office, supervisors, and crews), both verbal and written with appropriate use of IT.
  • Administration skills for planning workloads, scheduling, timesheets, client minutes, finance.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
