Lecturer Practitioner in Operating Department Practice

The School of Allied Health at ARU is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Lecturer Practitioner in Operating Department Practice. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for teaching on our BSc. ODP and Apprenticeship degree ODP courses, which are delivered at both our Cambridge and Chelmsford campuses.
With a higher degree related to Operating Department Practice and relevant clinical experience, you will be registered with the HCPC and have a strong track record of curriculum design and teaching at Higher Education level. You will also have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain some degree of clinical exposure alongside this role to maintain competency and currency.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and has a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences. You will be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working closely with fellow academics and clinicians to design and develop learning and teaching materials.
