Job Summary

This Estate Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in London, GBR. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support the operational requirements of a large mixed-use Estate in Stratford, London.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation of the Estate, ensuring that services meet or exceed the expectations of all stakeholders and guests. This will involve working with a high level of autonomy and effectively collaborating with the Estate Occupiers, the PAM PM team, the client, and wider stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to manage complex and varied workloads. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in contract management and specification, financial management, and service charge budget-setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of Estate FM operations to an exemplar level.
  • Communicate with customers, building meaningful business relationships.
  • Organise and facilitate regular meetings and conferences with occupiers to develop relationships and occupier satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and undertake customer feedback in conjunction with the Customer Experience Manager.
  • Ensure prompt payment and coding of invoices to maintain a high standard of financial management.
  • Maintain Estate security procedures, especially the business continuity plan, and undertake local desktop exercises.
  • Oversee adequate provision for emergency and out-of-hours cover, especially in relation to security, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Take ownership of and fully resolve issues in a timely fashion – including property operational matters, physical standards and procedures, occupier queries or complaints, and other events affecting normal Estate operation.
  • Implement and manage Health and Safety procedures & practices to ensure compliance with legislation and guidelines.
  • Deputise in place of the Senior Estate Manager when required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in working in a Commercial Property or Estate.
  • M&E understanding/training advantageous.
  • A thorough understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Financial Management.
