We have an exciting opportunity for an Outpatient Reception Team Member to join our team at The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive outpatient reception service to patients attending the hospital, including ensuring the accuracy of data on the hospital information system and timely production of statistics and information relating to patient appointments.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a busy district general hospital with over 6258 staff members. We provide a range of services, including acute emergency and elective services, primary care direct access services, and obstetric services to a population of approximately 407,000.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide a full outpatient reception service to patients attending the hospital, ensuring the accuracy of data on the hospital information system and timely production of statistics and information relating to patient appointments.
  2. Request and collect case notes as necessary for short notice clinic appointments.
  3. Administer any changes relating to clinics to ensure current targets are still achieved.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 GCSE's or equivalent
  • Computer literacy with basic level CTC (IHRIM)
  • Previous clerical experience, preferably in the NHS
