Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our London Commercial Team at Reed Property & Construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering commercial processes and procedures to protect revenue, driving the delivery of contractual obligations, and managing commercial risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage commercial processes and procedures to protect revenue.
  • Drive the delivery of contractual obligations and governance throughout the project lifecycle, managing commercial risk to the business.
  • Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of potential decisions.
  • Provide guidance on conflict avoidance, management, and resolution, including compiling evidence in the debt resolution process.
  • Manage projects at all stages, from advising on pre-contract negotiations to change management and final account agreement.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience working on complex projects with values up to £10 million.
  • Experience working on contractual claims and change management.
  • Working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract.
  • Quick thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
