About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our innovative and proactive Band 5 rotational scheme team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across four sites of the H.S. component of the UHB Foundation Trust, rotating through various specialties including MSK, Trauma and Orthopedics, Neurology, respiratory, and community rotations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform functional assessments of patients and work under the supervision of mentors in different clinical specialties.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prioritizing and organizing your workload effectively.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in evidence-based audit and research projects to support clinical practice and team development.
  • Contribute to a 7-day working rota and participate in the on-call physiotherapy service with provided training.

Person Specification
  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Good standard of general education, including GCSE maths and English grade C and above.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Student placements or qualified clinical work experience in various specialties, including respiratory, stroke and neurology, musculo-skeletal conditions, and older people.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize your workload, delegate tasks to assistants and students, and cope with a range of options and situations.
